4 children killed after wall collapses in UP

Etawah, Sep 22:-- On Thursday, four children were killed and two others were injured after a wall of their house fell owing to heavy rain in the Chandrapura village of Uttar Pradesh's Etawah's Civil Lines area.


Four siblings, three boys and one girl, perished, and the family will be compensated in accordance with the law, stated Avnish Rai, District Magistrate of Etawah. Sinku (10), Abhi (8), Sonu (7), Aarti (5) were identified as deceased, and one Rishav (4) and their grandmother Sharda Devi (75) were critically injured in the wall collapse event and have been hospitalised to the district's Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Government Joint Hospital. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has also expressed sorrow over the deaths caused by the wall collapse in Etawah.




 According to the CMO, CM Adityanath has directed that a relief sum of Rs. 4 lakh be distributed from the Disaster Relief Fund to the relatives of the victims, as well as medical care be provided to the injured. #UPCM @myogiadityanath has expressed his heartfelt condolences for the deaths caused by the fall of the Etawah wall. The Chief Minister has asked that top personnel visit the spot immediately and perform relief operations,” the CMO tweeted.


The Chief Minister has directed that the next of kin of the deceased get a relief payment of Rs 4 lakh. He extended his sympathies to the lost families and urged officials to make necessary provisions for their care, while also wishing the injured a swift recovery another tweet stated. After transporting the injured to the hospital, Etawah District Magistrate Rai and Senior Superintendent of Police Jaiprakash Singh visited the Chandrapur location.
