8 killed,five injured as truck overturns in Bihar's Purnia
Patna/Purnia, 23 May(FMNews) - Atleast eight people were killed and when a pipe-laden truck overturned on NH-57 in Jalalgarh police station area of Purnia district in Bihar on Monday morning.
Eight people were killed and five laborers were injured when a truck going from Agartala to Jammu and Kashmir overturned on National Highway No (NH)-57 under Jalalgarh police station area of ??Purnia district in Bihar on Monday morning. The condition of two of them is serious.
The deceased have been identified as include Ishwar Lal, Vasu Lal, Kaba Ram, Kanti Lala, Harish, Mani Lala, Dushmant, one unidentified. All are being told from Udaipur Khairwara of Rajasthan. These people were in the truck. This information was given by the police.
According to the police, the accident occured around 5 am on Monday. The accident occurred after the driver falling asleep. The machineries of borewell were loaded in the truck. The workers have died due to being buried under an iron pipe. Rescue and relief work is on.
Relief and rescue work is going on under the leadership of Circle B Inspector Rajkishore Sharma.
