AAP's Big Win In Delhi MCD Elections Makes Way For First 'Double Engine' Government In Delhi'

 NEW DELHI:The Aam Aadmi Party has registered a victory in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections. With this, the BJP, which has been in power in the MCD for 15 years, has to look for a way out.

Results have been declared on all 250 seats, out of which Aam Aadmi Party have got 134, BJP 104, Congress 9 and others got 3 seats. Arvind Kejriwal, who reached the AAP headquarters after the victory, said that the people of Delhi have given majority to form the AAP government under the leadership of Kejriwal by removing the corrupt BJP government of 15 years, thanks to the people.

Kejriwal while addressing the party workers said,”This is a big responsibility for us. The people of Delhi have given me many responsibilities including cleaning Delhi, removing corruption, fixing the park. I will try hard day and night to keep this trust of yours. I want to congratulate the people of Delhi. I want to congratulate the people of Delhi for such a big and resounding victory, for such a big change:.



 On the other hand, Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that heartfelt gratitude to the people of Delhi for trusting Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi MCD. Earlier, Sisodia had tweeted that by defeating the world's biggest and most negative party, the people of Delhi have given victory to staunch honest and working Arvind Kejriwal ji. For us it is not just a victory but a big responsibility.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann was seen taking a pinch on this occasion. He said that when today's exit poll can be proved wrong then tomorrow's exit poll cannot be proved wrong? Tomorrow you will see miracles in Gujarat.
