Angul police busted an organized fake edible Palmolein oil packaging unit

 (Fast Mail News) - Angul police busted  an organized fake edible oil (Palmolein oil) packaging unit and nabbed five persons in this connection.

The acused are identified as Subham Agrawal (25) of -Hatisalpada, (Proprietor), Pravudayal Agrawal(35) of Hatisalpada under Angul police station, Bisnu Charan Kar(24)  of Jarabarapur village(Worker), Abdul Barkat Hussain(34)  of Bazarpada,) Ashish Kumar Nath (23) of Khalari village undr Anguil Sadar police station.

Jagmohan Meena,SP Angul told TOI,”Getting  intelligence tip-off, Angul Sadar Police conducted raid over the complex of Shubham Enterprises located at Village Saradhapur under Sadar PS limit and busted an organized fake edible oil (Palmolein oil) packaging unit in which the accused  persons were packaging oil tins using different brand names of recognised companies without having any valid legal authority.Police seized a total quantity of 8,376 Ltrs of Palmolein Oil in 566 Tin carring inscription of different edible oil brands.

In this connection, Angul Sadar Police has registered the  case. During investigation, the accused Persons have been arrested  and forwarded to the court of law on the same day to stand their trial. Further investigation of the case is underway.
