Big win for AAP in Delhi MCD Poll:Kejriwal says everyone's cooperation is necessary to improve Delhi

 NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal have congratulated the people of Delhi on their victory in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. To make Delhi better, he has appealed for cooperation from all parties, especially the central government.

Arvind Kejriwal addressed workers at the party headquarters after the results here on Wednesday. He said,” I congratulate the people of Delhi for this victory and thank them for bringing change. Addressing party workers, he said that Aam Aadmi Party has proved that people vote for positive issues like education and health. The party does not do politics in the name of caste and religion”.



 Kejriwal said that the party will first work for those who did not vote for us. He said, “I would like to thank the people of Delhi for such a big change. Today the people of Delhi have given their son the responsibility of cleanliness, the responsibility of ending corruption.

Congratulating the winners of AAP, BJP, Congress and Independents, Kejriwal said that we will work together. He said, “I want the cooperation of BJP and Congress to work for Delhi now. I appeal to the Center and seek PM's blessings to make Delhi better. We have to end the present system of 'corruption and bribery' in MCD. Today the people of Delhi have given a message to the whole country”.

Kejriwal also addressed national politics from Delhi. He said that in order to make the country the number one country in the world, we have to take forward the issues of public concern. At the same time, Kejriwal asked his party workers to work for public issues without discrimination and arrogance.
