Bihar: Tanishq showroom employee shot dead in Begusarai

Begusarai, June 12 (FMNews) - All efforts of the police to control the crime have failed in Begusarai.There is total lawlessness in Begusarai as criminals struck terror most of the days here.

On Saturday night too, miscreants shot and killed a woman openly. The incident is from Anandpur of Lohianagar Assistant Police Station area located at district headquarters. The deceased Neha Devi was the elder daughter of Anandpur resident Umashankar Singh.

After the death of her father and separation from her husband two years ago, Neha used to work in the Tanishq Jewelery Showroom of the district headquarters to maintain the family by staying in her maternal home.

Like other days on Saturday night, she was returning home from duty on her scooty. Meanwhile, criminals who were already there between Panhans Chowk and Anandpur shot her. Locals rushed to the spot and admitted her at a city's private nursing home, where doctors declared her brought dead.

After getting information about the incident, the police sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The murder of Neha, the only support of the family, has created a furore in the family, while there is a lot of anger among the people. People havlleged t due to negligence of police, criminals are continuously committing crimes.The police have failed to show the fear of the uniform.
