BJP-RSS’s ‘hate-filled ideology’ is destroying the Constitution : Rahul Gandhi in Malda
He alleged that the BJP and RSS’s “hate-filled ideology” is destroying the Constitution.
He also claimed that the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal has failed to fulfill its promise of providing employment to the state’s youth.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Mamata Banerjee government had promised unemployment allowance, for which 84 lakh youths had applied.
The Congress leader said, “Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had promised to give jobs to five lakh people. But 84 lakh youths have applied for unemployment allowance.”
Targeting the BJP and RSS, Rahul Gandhi accused them of destroying the Constitution with their “hate-filled ideology” and being involved in “vote theft.”
He described the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list as “unconstitutional” and alleged that wherever they get the opportunity, the BJP and RSS attack the Constitution.
The Congress leader accused the BJP of inciting one community against another in the name of religion and caste to win elections.
Rahul Gandhi said that after Congress comes to power, the names of people wrongly removed from the voter list under SIR will be restored.
He claimed that Trinamool Congress cannot compete with the BJP across the country. He said that Congress is the only party that can take on the BJP and defeat it.
He held the Trinamool responsible for unemployment in West Bengal. He alleged, “Trinamool has shut down all industries in Bengal and is running the state through syndicates.”
He said that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre has not released the pending two lakh crore rupees for Bengal and has also deprived the state of funds under MGNREGA.
He said, “Trinamool is not far behind in corruption either.”
He also accused the Trinamool of being involved in violence and making false promises.
Criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the India-US trade deal, Rahul Gandhi said, “This will lead to the closure of small and medium industries and cause job losses in India.”
He claimed that 35 lakh documents from the controversial Epstein files have still not been made public, and the key to this lies with US President Donald Trump.
Attacking Prime Minister Modi over the India-US trade agreement, Rahul Gandhi said, “Prime Minister Modi’s control is in Trump’s hands.”
He alleged that Prime Minister Modi has opened India’s agriculture sector to America, allowing it to sell its agricultural produce in India.
Addressing a rally in Malda, which was once a Congress stronghold, Rahul Gandhi alleged, “India’s agriculture sector will be ruined. Modi has sold India in the trade deal with America. He is not a patriot, he is an anti-national.”
The Congress leader also accused the Modi-led government of handing over India’s energy security to America by succumbing to pressure from Washington.
Rahul Gandhi said that data security is paramount because the strength of any country depends on it. He accused the central government of handing over India’s data to America. He said, “This has caused serious damage to national security.”
He alleged that the Modi-led government has promised to buy goods worth 95 lakh crore rupees from America. He said, “If American goods flood India like a tsunami, our country’s small and medium factories will shut down.”
He added, “This will cause double damage to Bengal because Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has already shut down industries in the state.”
