"BJP Spreads Fear First, Then Turns It Into Violence": Rahul Gandhi During 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'

Bodarli, Nov 23, (Fast Mail News):-- After passing through Maharashtra, the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' led by former Congress President Rahul Gandhi entered Madhya Pradesh from Bodarli village in Burhanpur district, known as the 'Gate of the South', one hour late from the scheduled time. In the next 11 days, the yatra will pass through 7 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Banana is cultivated in a large part of Burhanpur and it is also a main center of powerloom industry. Later this afternoon, Rahul Gandhi will hold talks with banana farmers and powerloom workers.

Inaugurating the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He alleged that the BJP first spreads fear in the hearts of youth, farmers and laborers and then turns it into violence.

Rahul formally launched the 12-day yatra in Madhya Pradesh after handing over the tricolor between the Congress units of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh at the village synagogue. Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath, former Union Minister Digvijay Singh and many other senior party leaders were present on the occasion.

Rahul said in the gathering that his yatra is against the hatred, violence and fear being spread in the country. The former Congress president surrounded the central government on the issues of unemployment and inflation. He said, “BJP first spreads fear in the hearts of youth, farmers and laborers and when this fear is well spread, it turns it into violence.”

Challenging the BJP in a way, Rahul said, “We started the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' from Kanyakumari with the tricolor in hand. No one can stop this tricolor from reaching Srinagar. He claimed that the country's industry, airports and ports are in the hands of only three-four industrialists and now the railways is also going to go into their hands. Rahul said, “This is India of injustice. We do not want such India. The poor want justice."

He also said that the money coming out of the common man's pocket for expensive petrol and cooking gas is going into the pockets of these three-four industrialists.

Rahul called a five-year-old boy named Rudra to the stage of his meeting, who said that he wanted to become a doctor when he grew up. Accusing the government of privatizing education, the former Congress president said, “In today's India, Rudra's dream of becoming a doctor cannot be fulfilled because his parents have to pay crores of rupees to study in a private medical college. Will be Due to not being able to pay the fees, he will have to work as a laborer.

This padyatra led by Rahul will pass through the Malwa-Nimar region of western Madhya Pradesh within 12 days before entering Rajasthan on December 4.

Significantly, during the 2018 assembly elections in this farmer-dominated area, the Congress had gained a significant lead over the BJP and the party's government was formed in the state under the leadership of Kamal Nath. However, the then Kamal Nath government collapsed on March 20, 2020, due to the resignation of 22 rebel Congress MLAs from the assembly under the patronage of Jyotiraditya Scindia and joining the BJP. After the fall of the Kamal Nath government, the BJP returned to power in the state on March 23, 2020, under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Meanwhile, a large number of Congress workers reached Bodarli village waving tricolor flags in the form of Prabhatferi to join the yatra. The synagogue, which has a population of about 6,000, was specially decorated with banana leaves to welcome the Yatra, as the area is a banana-growing stronghold.
