Delhi government to provide free spoken english course,says Kejriwal

 NEW DELHI: Delhi government will offer free spoken english course to one lakh youth every year,the state Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced this on Saturday.

Kejriwal said that now the poor and middle class children in Delhi who have a tight hand in English, the Delhi government will provide 'Spoken English Course' to them free of cost.

Kejriwal said that this scheme will be operated by Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University. This year 50 centers will be opened in the state and one lakh people will be trained.



 He said that weekend and evening classes would be run for the convenience of the youth. Any youth of the age of 18 years and 35 years of the state can register by paying Rs 950. Kejriwal said that although this course is free. This money will be refunded upon completion of the course.

 He said that the registration fee has been kept only so that no one can leave the course midway.
