DGP visits Angul, calls upon cadets to work selflessly and win confidence of the people

ANGUL: Odisha Director General of Police(DGP) Sunil Kumar Bansal on Friday made a visit to industrial district of Angul.
Participating in the passing out ceremony of sub inspectors in Police training College in the morning, he called upon cadets to work selflessly and win the confidence of the people .
He said after the training period the police officials should devote themselves to their duty professionally.

About 126 sub inspectors passed out in today's function graced by the Director General of Police. Senior police officials Arun Kumar Sarangi,DIG,NCR Jay Narayan Pankaj,SP Jagmohan Meena and other senior IPS officers attended the passing out function organised at police training college.
Later DGP Bansal made a visit to Talcher where he was SDPO in early 90s.He reviewed crime and law and order situation of North central range with DIG Jaya Narayan Pankaj and SPs of Dhenkanal,Angul and Deogarh.
He reviewed in the meeting the law and order situation in the range and asked the police authorities to control the law and order situation.He stressed on posting good and efficient officers at key posts across the range areas.
