Dhenkanal: Body of missing 10th class student found in Mahabirod forest

Angul:A mutilated body of 10 class student was found this morning below a culvert at Jhili Pataragarh of Anantapur forest under Parjang police station in Dhenkanal district.

According to police,the body is beyond recognition. The student originally belonged to Mundeilo village but was staying with his relative at Mahabirod.

According to police,the deceased,a student of Mahabirod high school was missing on January 10 while he had gone to bring a milk packet to his home.He left his bicycle and went on a motorcycle driven by some persons on that day. He then didn’t return home.


 His father Biswaranjan panda, while failing to trace him, lodged a missing case at Parjan police station on that day.

Later,the villagers saw a dead body and informed the police. Getting information police launched a manhunt on that day but couldn’t find any clue to where he had gone.

Kamakhyanagar SDPO Ranjan Kumar Dey, said,”The body is beyond recognition.we are investigating into the incident and the body has been sent for post mortem.After the post mortem report came in we can ascertain the cause of the death.Accordingly,we will take action into the incident’.
