Dhenkanal: Odia geologist killed in helicopter crash

DHENKANAL(Fast Mail News) - An Odia geologist Satyambada Patra was among five killed in a helicopter crash of ONGC in Arabian sea on Tuesday. His body is arriving at Bhuban of Dhenkanal tonight. Though Satyambada belongs to Bhuban area of Dhenkanal district he was born and brought up and also got education in Malkangiri district where his father serves in government job.

According to report his father Suresh Patra serves as steno in ARCC in Malkangiri district head quarter. His mother also is school teacher serving in Malkangiri district. Satyamvada got his primary education and high school study in Malkangiri district and then studied geology in Rourkela.He also studied in NIT Rourkela and got engaged in ONGC.he married one year back. Satyambda got job in ONGC in three years back.

According to a report while going on a helicopter there was a crash where four died and five others were rescued. Among the dead Sayambada was included. His death has sent shockwaves in his local Bhuban area. His body is likely to come to Bhuban tonight. Satyambada was also preparing to appear for IAS examinations this year, according to his family sources.
