Earthquake tremors in Chhattisgarh, intensity measured at 4.1
Raipur, Mar 24, (Fast Mail News):-- Earthquake tremors were felt in Surajpur and Surguja districts on Friday morning. Its intensity has been estimated at 4.1 on the Richter scale and its center was at a distance of 11 km from Bhatgaon in Surajpur. People came out of the houses after feeling the tremors of the earthquake.
Panic spread in Surajpur and Surguja districts on Friday morning at 10.28 am due to the tremors of the earthquake. People came out of their houses due to shaking of doors, windows and fans of the houses. The intensity of the earthquake has been estimated at 4.1.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Girjapur for 2 to 3 seconds. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Ambikapur, Ramanuj Nagar. People felt strong tremors of earthquake in many areas of Surguja district as well. Dr. Ravindra Nath, a resident of Ambikapur said that there were strong tremors at 10.28 in the morning. The windows of the house and the ceiling fans started shaking. The tremors only lasted for a few seconds. people came out of their houses in panic
