Fourth dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine is not needed yet : expert
Experts say a structured and systematic response is needed. After the increase in corona cases in China, people are worried about the possibility of another wave of infection in India. In such a case, some scientists ask to look at the situation at the ground level on whether the government should allow a second precautionary dose to increase the safety of the two vaccines.
Satyajit Rath, associated with the Indian Institute of Education and Research in Pune, said there was no reason to expect that the Chinese situation would predict anything for India. The situation in China is mainly due to the zero-covid policies being adopted by the country for almost three years. According to Rath, the Indian situation is quite different, with widespread actual infection in addition to vaccination.
