Governor's floor test order unconstitutional: Sanjay Raut
Mumbai, June 29 (FMNews) - Shiv Sena spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has said that the Governor's order to convene a special session is unconstitutional. An appeal in this regard will be made in the Supreme Court, Sanjay Raut said adding that the Supreme Court has still not decided to disqualify 16 MLAs and asked the Assembly to maintain status quo in this regard.
Sanjay Raut said that he respects the Governor. But yesterday the opposition met the governor and after that he has ordered a special session. For the last two and a half years, the letter of appointment of 12 MLAs of the Legislative Council is lying with the Governor, but the decision has not been taken yet.
Raut said the Bharatiya Janata Party was working against the Constitution and was waiting for the Maha Vikas Aghadi government to fall. They feel that the time for the fulfillment of their dreams is drawing near. However, it is not so easy and simple. Raut said that the Leader of Opposition was trying to topple the government from the very first day of the formation of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, if the government falls, good luck to Devendra Fadnavis. He said that Shiv Sena leaders Anil Desai, Anil Parab and Arvind Sawant have been appointed for the legal advice of Shiv Sena.
