"I Can Lead As Chief Minister": Virbhadra Singh's Wife Pratibha

New Delhi, Dec 09, (Fast Mail News):-- Congress has won in Himachal Pradesh. A few hours before the Congress meeting to decide on the Chief Minister, former CM Virbhadra Singh's wife Pratibha Singh has presented her claim for the Chief Minister's post. State Congress President in Himachal Pratibha Singh said that the election was fought and won in the name of her husband Virbhadra Singh and it would be wrong to sideline his family. Virbhadra Singh had passed away only last year. Pratibha Singh told that I feel I can lead the state as the chief minister because Soniaji and the high command have given me the responsibility to lead the party before the elections."

 

He said that when the election was fought and won in the name of Virbhadra Singh, it would not be right to sideline Virbhadra Singh's family. We won 40 seats only because people have a deep emotional connect with Virbhadra Singh. Top Congress leaders will hold a meeting with the newly elected Congress MLAs in Shimla at 3 pm to discuss the Chief Minister. Former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has been a strong leader of Himachal Pradesh and he died last year.

 

 

 In the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections, Congress got 40 seats, BJP 25, Aam Aadmi Party 0 and others three seats. Congress is very excited about its victory. After the results, Rahul Gandhi also welcomed the people of Himachal Pradesh.
