Iran's IRGC officer assassinated in in Tehran

 Tehran(Fast Mail News) -Terrorists assassinated a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps in Tehran on May 22, 2022. Hassan Sayyad Khodaei was in front of his home when he was shot.

According to reports, the incident took place around 4 p.m. local time on Sunday, when the IRGC member was dismounting his car to enter his home in an eastern neighborhood of the Iranian capital.

The two assailants who came in a motorcycle shot the Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodaei, five times before fleeing the scene.

 

 

 According to reports,three bullets hit him in the head and two bullets hit his hand.

The IRGC issued a statement soon after the assassination, saying that its former member was assassinated in a terrorist attack by counterrevolutionary elements.

Following the assassination,the  head of Tehran Court of Justice, Ali Alqasi, ordered Tehran prosecutor to speed up efforts to identify and arrest those behind this criminal act.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Tehran, which claimed the life of the IRGC member, condoling with his family and his friends in the force.
