Israel-Hamas War: Israeli Bombardment Kills 19 Palestinians, Including Children and Women

At least 19 Palestinian civilians have been killed in Israeli attacks across various areas of the Gaza Strip. Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal told  that an Israeli airstrike targeting the Hassouna family’s home in the Al-Tufah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, killed 10 people, including several children and women.

According to sources,the Israeli army killed three people and injured others in the Jabalia area in northern Gaza.

Spokesperson Mahmoud Basal reported that in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, Israeli drone strikes killed at least five people, including two children. Additionally, an Israeli airstrike on a tent distributing food to displaced people in the central Nuseirat city resulted in one death.

According to Palestinian security sources, Israeli artillery has been continuously shelling the eastern parts of Gaza City, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia since Wednesday morning.

 

 Meanwhile, Hamas’s armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, stated that its fighters targeted three Israeli Merkava-4 tanks near the Al-Wafa Hospital in eastern Gaza City. The Israeli army has not yet commented on these attacks.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated on Wednesday that since resuming operations in the Gaza Strip on March 18, 11 senior officials of Hamas’s political bureau have been killed.

According to the statement, the resumed operations involved approximately 1,200 airstrikes by 350 air force fighter jets and aircraft targeting terrorist sites. Over 100 targets were destroyed in precision strikes, and hundreds of terrorists and military commanders from terrorist organizations in Gaza were eliminated.

Gaza health authorities announced on Wednesday that at least 25 people were killed and 89 others injured in Gaza over the past 24 hours. According to the latest figures, since Israel resumed its offensive in Gaza, the death toll has reached 1,652, with the total number of deaths since the war began in October 2023 standing at 51,025.
