Lucknow: Nine MLC candidates of BJP including 7 ministers file nomination
Lucknow, 09 June (FMNews)-Nine BJP Legislative Council candidates, including seven ministers of the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, reached the Vidhan Bhavan on Thursday and filed their nominations.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Cooperative Minister JPS Rathore, AYUSH Minister Dayashankar Dayalu and Bhupendra Chaudhary nominated for the Legislative Council from BJP. Apart from this, Danish Azad Ansari, Jaswant Saini, Banwari Lal Dohre and Lucknow BJP Metropolitan President Mukesh Sharma filed their nominations. At the same time, his representative nominated Narendra Kashyap due to corona being infected.
Several ministers including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak, State President Swatantradev Singh and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna were also present at the time of nomination. Before the nomination, the candidates for the post of MLC of BJP were welcomed by the state president Swatantradev Singh in the BJP office. A large number of BJP workers were present in the party office on this occasion.
