Minister Sisodia's name is nowhere in ED's charge sheet in liquor scam case : CM Kejriwal

New Delhi, Nov 26, (Fast Mail News):-- After the CBI, now the Enforcement Directorate has also filed a charge sheet in the alleged scam in the Delhi Excise Policy. ED has filed the charge sheet in Rouse Avenue Court.

ED told the court that we are currently filing charge sheet only against Sameer Mahendru. Soon the agency will file a charge sheet against the other accused as well & that the investigation is still going on in the matter.

The court asked the ED to first file a copy of the charge sheet in the registry. The court said that the number of documents in the charge sheet is more, so it may take time to give a date for taking cognizance of the charge sheet. There is a charge sheet of about 3000 thousand pages.

Here, the name of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister cum Education Minister Manish Sisodia is not mentioned anywhere in the charge sheet filed by ED. CM Arvind Kejriwal has targeted the central government regarding this matter.

He tweeted, "Manish Sisodia's name is not even in ED's charge sheet. Shouldn't PM Modi apologize to the country for falsely implicating Manish, who brought laurels to India in the world through education revolution? Good job." Will the country move forward by putting the perpetrators in jail?

Significantly, considering the role of Manish Sisodia in this case as suspicious, ED and CBI had first searched his places in turn and then called the office for questioning.
