Mukesh Ambani gets Z+ security, Center takes steps after intelligence input

 NEW DELHI:The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced to give Z+ Security to Mukesh Ambani, Indian industrialist and Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited. Recently, Mukesh Ambani was threatened, after which the Ministry of Home Affairs decided to increase his security. The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to increase the security of Mukesh Ambani after the input of intelligence. Assessing the seriousness of the threat, the Ministry of Home Affairs has given Z plus security to Ambani.

Earlier Mukesh Ambani was given 'Z category' security. Last year, the home ministry was discussing strengthening security for industrialists after a bomb exploded outside Antilia, the residence of billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani. After assessing the threats, the security category is divided into five groups and assigned to an individual. There are also X, Y, Z, Z+, SPG, and more security classifications. Such protection is available to VIPs and VVIPs, athletes, entertainers and other high-profile or political figures.

 

 Z plus security cover is offered to recognized personalities in India. Such people of the country whose life is in danger because of their work or their popularity. The Indian intelligence agency after investigating about them sends its report to the Ministry of Home Affairs. On the basis of the report given by the Intelligence Department, if they are threatened by the anti-social forces present in the country, then various types of security are given to protect them.

Z+ Security is the second highest level of security. This security coverage consists of a 55-person team deployed to protect a dignitary. This includes 10+ NSG commandos and police officers. Each commando is an expert in martial arts and is well versed in fighting unarmed without any weapons. This security has been provided to dignitaries like Home Minister, President Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Finance Minister and others.
