New Zealand cricket expected to host international matches later this year

Auckland, August 11 (HS)  New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has expressed hope that it will be able to host international matches later this year. New Zealand has recently been freed from the corona virus epidemic and is now preparing to return to the cricket that had stalled due to corona.

As per the earlier schedule, West Indies, Pakistan, Australia and Bangladesh were to visit New Zealand this year. NZC President David White said that in the coming time the teams will come to their country for the series, whose schedule will be released in the next few days.

White said, "We are making great progress. I was talking on the phone to the West Indies, they have confirmed, Pakistan has also confirmed. Australia and Bangladesh have also confirmed. So 37 days of international cricket Is fixed.

"We will stay for a week or two and talk with the government agencies about isolation, but they have been very supportive," he said. However, the ICC Women's World Cup to be held in New Zealand in 2021 has been postponed due to Corona.
