No need of Night curfew in the state: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray
Addressing the state through social media platforms, Mr. Thackeray urged people to continue to wear mask for next six months even after the corona vaccine arrives.
He further said that 70-75 per cent people in the state are wearing mask, but there are still some who do not follow the norms and hence appealed them to wear mask to protect the society and their family. He said wearing mask is like a weapon which can protect a person from Covid-19.
Mr. Thackeray also said that developmental projects are on in the state despite crisis situation. He admitted that the state is going through financial instability but still MoUs are being signed to start developmental projects in the state.
Talking about the contentious metro carshed project at Kanjur Marg in Mumbai he said, the project is coming up on 40 hectares of land and will serve as a carshed for three metro lines. He said the Aarey Colony metro carshed project was happening on 25 hectares of land and would have only one carshed for a single metro-line.
