No proposal received from Shinde yet : BJP

Mumbai, June 24 (FMNews) -Bharatiya Janata Party state president Chandrakant Patil has said that till now he has not received any proposal from the Shinde group of Shiv Sena. Once the proposal is received, it can be considered. On the other hand, on Friday, activity has increased at Sagar Bungalow, the official residence of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Many leaders and MLAs, including former minister Ashish Shelar, have reached Sagar Bungalow and are discussing the upcoming strategy.

Chandrakant Patil told reporters in Kolhapur that on Thursday, Devendra Fadnavis had met him at an event. He had told that something was going on. But today they do not have any information yet. He said that BJP will not bring down the Mahavikas Aghadi government. But the BJP will give necessary consideration to the situation after the fall of the government. Patil said that if there is a proposal from the Shinde group to form the government, then it will be discussed in the 13-member core committee of Maharashtra. After this, this proposal will be sent to the Central BJP High Command. He said that the BJP will take a thoughtful decision on the basis of Think in Advance and Think in Detail.

It is being told that there was a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the political instability in Maharashtra late on Thursday. After this, Devendra Fadnavis has returned to Mumbai this morning. At the official residence of Devendra Fadnavis, discussions are going on between BJP leaders regarding the upcoming strategy. Along with this, legal advice is being taken on the proceedings under the Anti-Defection Act against 12 MLAs of the Shinde group. Preparations are also being made by the Shinde group of Shiv Sena to send a letter of support of 50 MLAs to the Governor claiming withdrawal of support from Mahavikas Aghadi by this evening.
