Nupur Sharma's fan brutally murdered in Udaipur

 Udaipur, 28 June (Fast Mail News)  - A youth named Kanhaiyalal, who posted on social media in support of Nupur Sharma, suspended from the BJP a few days ago, was murdered in broad daylight on Tuesday in Udaipur, Rajasthan.The attackers entered his shop on the pretext of getting clothes stitched and killed him with a sword. The attackers have claimed responsibility for the murder by posting a post on social media after the incident.

Kanhaiyalal (40), a resident of Govardhan Vilas area, has a shop named Supreme Tailors near Bhootmahal in Dhanmandi here. Two miscreants riding bikes came to the shop at around 2.30 pm on Tuesday entered the shop on the pretext of getting clothes sewn and measured. Before Kanhaiyalal could understand anything, the miscreants attacked him. The attackers inflicted heavy blows on him with the sword, after whic he died on the spot.

Kanhaiyalal's partner Ishwar Singh is seriously injured in this attack.He has been admitted at MB Hospital. Meanwhile,tension has been mounted in the area after the incident. After the incident in the area, markets of Udaipur city area were closed. There is a panic among the people. Angry youth took out a rally and protested and raised slogans in support of suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma.

A large number of police forces have been deployed in the area after the incident. Collector Tarachand Meena and Superintendent of Police Manoj Chaudhary also visited the spot.The family members have demanded a job, punishment to the killers and compensation of Rs 50 lakh and suspension of the SHO.

 It is learnt that Kanhaiyalal had made a post viral on social media in the past, due to which there was deep resentment in one side of the particular community. Police had also arrested Kanhaiyalal but he was out on bail. He had also applied in the police station for threat to his life. After that, the police made both the parties sit down and made a settlement. Although Kanhaiyalal had kept the shop closed for a few days, but assuming the situation was normal, he reached the shop today and the attackers killed him.

 

It is worth mentioning that after reconciliation was done in the police station, the assailants killed him. He also made a video of the murder, which is going viral on social media. Not only this, after this he has tweeted another video challenging Prime Minister Modi. After the incident, a purported video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which the attackers are talking in a threatening tone.

Udaipur Superintendent of Police Manoj Chaudhary says that police force has been deployed on the spot. Strict action will be taken against those who are guilty. On the question of complaints of threats being received after the post in support of Nupur Sharma, Chaudhary said that all the records related to the deceased are being investigated. Some of the accused have been identified. The team has been dispatched.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has appealed to the people for peace. In a tweet , he said, "Condemn the heinous murder of youth in Udaipur. Strict action will be taken against all the criminals involved in this incident and the police will go to the bottom of the crime. I appeal to all parties to maintain peace. Strictest punishment will be given to every person involved in such heinous crime. I appeal to everyone not to try to spoil the atmosphere by sharing the video of this incident. By sharing the video, the criminal's purpose of spreading hatred in the society will be successful."

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has strongly condemned the murder. He said, “The brutal murder of a simple citizen of Udaipur and the confession of crime by making videos by the accused shows that if appeasement crosses the limits, the atmosphere becomes a victim of bloody animosity. This incident is part of a conspiracy to terrorize the civilized society, Gehlotji cannot get away by making flat statements. It is their responsibility to make every citizen feel safe and to stop the reasons due to which such crimes and criminals are flourishing. The state government is anyway standing in the dock because of its one-sided policies.”
