Odisha: Covid-19 active caseload crosses 35,000 mark in the state
BHUBANESWAR:In Odisha, the covid-19 active caseload has further spiked beyond 35,000. The state reported 8778 positive cases only yesterday. As many as 74,611 samples were tested last Tuesday which revealed an increase in daily test positivity rate of 11.76%, which was up from 10.25% the day before.
On the other hand, the Omicron cases in the state to have gone up to 170 after the detection of 67 fresh cases yesterday at the Bhubaneswar based Institute of Life Sciences. Meanwhile, the Odisha Election Commission have issued detailed guidelines for the ensuing Panchayat polls in February so that the electoral arena doesn't turn out to be a ground for viral multiplication.

Seven new COVID-19 cases in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, May 3:-- Odisha reported seven new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the tally to 12,88,075, a health bulletin said.
The state's coronavirus death toll remained unchanged at 9,126, with no reports of any fresh fatalities, it said.
