Odisha districts to receive rainfall till June 30: Reports

 Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall in most parts of the state in the next 24 hours. However, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Devgarh, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Nuapadha, Balangir, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and some parts of Gajapati district are likely to receive heavy rainfall.

Thunderstorms are expected in some districts. With this in mind, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for all these districts.



 Most parts of the state are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall over the next 24 hours. However, heavy rains are expected in Bargarh, Nuapadha, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and parts of Malkangiri district. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for all these districts.

The monsoon is expected to remain active in the state till the next 30 days, with light to moderate rainfall in most districts. The department also warned of heavy rains and thunderstorms in some districts.
