Odisha: Similipal Tiger Reserve open for tourists

BHUBANESWAR : Shimilipal Tiger Reserve located in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha opened for tourists from this morning after a long time. Four-wheelers will be allowed inside Jashipur, 35 from Kaliani Gate and 25 from Pithabata Gate. Tourists will have to book online for this,the authorities said,adding permission letters can be taken from the booking counter from 6 am to 9 am.
 Forest department officials said that strict scrutiny will be done during the entry. There will be a ban on carrying polythene, cooked food and intoxicants inside. Tourists have to leave Joranda, Barehipani Waterfalls before 3 pm and Chahla by 4 pm forest officials said.
