Official Fakes Own Death To Claim ? 7 Crore Insurance
Hyderabad: A Telangana government official, allegedly faked his own death to claim more than ? 7 crore insurance money.In the incident,the official was arrested along with four others including his wife and two relatives in Medak district, police said on Wednesday.
The accused, who is working as an Assistant Section Officer (ASO) in Telangana State Secretariat, lost ? 85 lakh in stock market.He hatched a plan along with his wife and relatives and accordingly allegedly killed a man and faked his death to claim insurance amount.
