One terrorist killed, another surrendered in Kashmir

 Jammu, October 6 : Security forces have killed one terrorist while another terrorist surrendered  in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on Friday. Security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in Lalpora area of ??Pampore in the south Kashmir district on Thursday following information about the presence of terrorists in the area. Consequently one terrorist was killed while another surrendered during an overnight encounter in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir in which a civilian also lost his life. The J&K police and the Indian Army have started a surrender policy for the local youth, where parents of the trapped militants are called to the encounter site to convince them to surrender. This year alone, security forces have killed around 200 terrorists which included both local and foreign.
