BHOPAL:
Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Madhya Pradesh via Burhanpur on Wednesday morning. While addressing the public meeting in Burhanpur said that there are two-three goals behind this yatra. “This yatra is against the hatred, violence and fear that is being spread in India. Our goal is to eliminate fear. There is no need to fear anyone in this India”,he said.

Rahul Gandhi said, “This is the way of BJP. First, spread fear. Spreading fear among youth, farmers and common people. When fear spreads, there turn it into violence. Violence is a form of fear. One who is not afraid, cannot even commit violence. The one who is afraid, only he does violence. Our goal is to get rid of this fear”.

He said, “Thank you very much to all of you for this loving welcome. The people who came with us from Maharashtra will return. He organized the yatra very well in Maharashtra. Very good message went to Maharashtra and India. This journey was started in Kanyakumari. See, we have come to Madhya Pradesh. 370 km will run here. This tricolor will go till Srinagar and we are not afraid”,he said.

Rahul called Rudra, a five-year-old child, on the stage. He said that Rudra is five years old. He wants to become a doctor. It has made its dream come true. This will work for him. Rudra's dream cannot be fulfilled in today's India. I am not speaking like this. I have been running for 70 days. Met youths like Rudra in every state. Some want to become an engineer, some a doctor and some a lawyer. All the schools have become privatized. Lakhs of rupees will have to be withdrawn from the pocket,Rahul said.

Rahul Gandhi further said, “After that Rudra will come to know that the blood and sweat of the parents gave him education. He will not be able to do medicine and will start working as a laborer. We do not want India of unemployed. The entire industry is in the hands of three-four industrialists. Airport, telephone and railway are going in their hands. We want justice. The poor should get justice. The third thing is of inflation”.

His convoy left Jalgaon Jamod in Maharashtra at 6 am. Passing through Jasondhi village of Jalgaon Jamod, the yatra reached Bodarli village in Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Special arrangements were made to welcome Rahul Gandhi here. State Congress Committee President Kamal Nath and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Govind Singh and all the big leaders were present in Burhanpur to welcome Rahul.
