Pak blaming India of violation of minorities rights is farce: Gotru

New Delhi, Sep:-- With shameful record of ill-treatment to minorities, Pakistan commenting on violation of their rights in India, is a big farce.

UNES Joint Secretary Shrinivas Gotru made a strong reply to Pakistan trying to corner India on the issues of rights of minorities, during a UN meeting on Rights of Minorities. Gotru said Pakistan has history of consistent violation of rights of minorities like Hindu, Sikh, Christian and even Ahmedia. These communities are on the verge of extinction in Pakistan. A Large number of girls and children from minority communities are being kidnapped and converted into Islam by forcefully marring them. Such a country talking about rights of minorities is a big surprise.

Indian Government has a special ministry, which looks after welfare and protection of religious and linguistic minorities.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhotto claimed that India is changing as Hindu State and promoting hate against Muslims. Gotru rebutted Bhutto on the allegations made against India in the meeting.
