Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif again rakes up Kashmir issue at UN, India gives befitting reply

Fast Mail News

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has once again raised the issue of Kashmir in the United Nations. Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday night, PM Sharif said that war is no longer an option. Pakistan wants peace with all its neighbours. We want peace with all our neighbours, including India. Permanent peace and stability in South Asia depends on an equitable and permanent settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

Responding to Pakistan's allegations, Mijito Vinito, First Secretary of the Indian Mission to the United Nations, said, "It is very sad that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has used this platform to make false allegations against India. He did this so that he could hide the happenings in his country, and justify his behavior against India which is not acceptable to the world.

Winito accused Islamabad of engaging in "cross-border terrorism", saying "a politics that claims it wants peace with its neighbors will never sponsor cross-border terrorism." Nor will Mumbai give shelter to those who plan terrorist attacks.

Raising the issue of atrocities on minorities in Pakistan, Winito said, “In Pakistan, girls from Hindu, Sikh and Christian families are being abducted, married and then converted. Other countries of the world should take cognizance of this."
