Pakistani nuclear scientist Dr. Death of Abdul Qadir Khan passes away at 85

 Islamabad,FASTMAIL - Pakistan's nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan died at the age of 85 at KRL Hospital in Islamabad. Abdul Qadir was also accused of stealing nuclear technology and selling it to North Korea and other countries. Since  Abdul Qadir Khan dies due to the negligence of  treatment, the people of Pakistan have been seeing indignation and anger against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Pakistani Defense Minister Pervez Khattak said that there is 'deep sorrow' over the demise of Abdul Qadir Khan. This is a huge loss for Pakistan. He said Pakistan would always respect his services to the nation. The whole of Pakistan is indebted to him for his contribution in enhancing Pakistan's defense capabilities. Pakistan's 'nuclear father' Pakistan's Minister of Planning and Development Asad Omar said that Dr. Khan has played an important role in making the country 'invincible'.


 Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan was born in Bhopal, India before independence and moved to Pakistan after the partition of India in 1947. Last month, Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan had complained that neither Prime Minister Imran Khan nor any of his cabinet members had inquired about his health during his treatment at the hospital. After that, the Pakistani people had sharply criticized Imran Khan for not taking interest in the great scientist.

 After the death, the Pakistani media says that until Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan was alive and hospitalized, until then neither Imran Khan nor any of his ministers tried to find out his condition. Now that he has passed away, all the ministers of the Imran government are paying homage to him.  When Abdul Qadir Khan was admitted to the hospital, he issued a video message accusing the Imran government of ignoring him.
