Panipat: India has become a world power with the spirit of welfare: Ramnath Kovind

Panipat, Apr 4, (Fast Mail News):-- Former President of India Ramnath Kovind said that at present India has become a world power. The increased strength of India is the spirit of non-violence and welfare of all. Lord Mahavir gave the message of non-violence to humanity. We can overcome the biggest challenge by following the path shown by him. Lord Mahavir is the brave among the heroes. He was speaking as the chief guest at the Bhagwan Mahavir Jayanti program organized at TDI City here on Tuesday.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind said that in the period in which Lord Mahavir was born, Lord Buddha was also born in the same period. While being the Governor of Bihar, I got the opportunity to know about these two personalities. I believe that both the great personalities must have met. Both dedicated their lives for public welfare. Bihar is the birthplace and Nirvana place of Lord Mahavira. Not only the Jain community, all people should visit both the places. All our 24 Tirthankaras taught humanity a great lesson for public welfare. Taught the principle of live and let live. By adopting the path of restraint and service, Jain saints have shown a new path to humanity and are showing it further. The three principles of the Jain tradition are right philosophy, right knowledge, and right conduct. Any problem in life can be overcome by adopting these three.

The former President said that if there can be an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine, it is possible only through the path shown by India. Not only Ukraine, the entire humanity is suffering. The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi spoke to the Presidents of both the countries and brought 23,000 of his students studying in Ukraine safely to India. Sharing his memoirs, he said that earlier when the President or the Prime Minister of India used to go abroad, some minister used to come to receive them. After 2017, I have seen that the Prime Minister has also come to receive the President along with him when he goes out.
