PM Modi says govt emphasising on upgradation of infrastructure & boosting reforms in blue economy
NEW DELHI:Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India will achieve great success in boosting the maritime economy and the country invites world to be a part of our growth trajectory. He said, India is natural leader in this sector and lots of efforts has been made to improve connectivity of ports.
While inaugurating the second edition of three days Maritime India Summit-2021 today through video conferencing, the Prime Minister said, the government is laying emphasis on upgradation of infrastructure and boosting the reforms in blue economy. He said, these steps will achieve the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the government is giving great importance to efficiency. He said, this summit will bring together many stakeholders.
Earlier, Mr. Modi launched the ebook maritime India vision 2030 which identifies key growth areas for the development of the maritime sector by attracting huge investment.
