PM Modi to lay virtual foundation of every house tap scheme in Mirzapur & Sonbhadra

 -Millions of villagers of Vindhya region will get clean drinking water gift on Sunday

 

-Scheme will be started in Sonbhadra in presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

 

-Govt to supply water from door-to-door in Vindhya region by spending Rs 5555.38 crores

 

 Lucknow, 21 Novembe: In the near future, villagers of Vindhya region will not have to struggle for drinking water. Rural women are going to get rid of the arduous and painstaking efforts to carry water from miles away. The Yogi Government is going to give the gift of Har Ghar Nal Yojana to over 41 lakh villagers of Mirzapur and Sonbhadra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the scheme in Sonbhadra on Sunday in the presence of CM Yogi.

 

Under the central government's 'Har Ghar Nal' Yojana, the Yogi government will start drinking water supply through pipes in 1606 villages of Mirzapur. This scheme will directly benefit 2187980 villagers of Mirzapur. 1389 villages of Sonbhadra will also be linked with the scheme. 1953458 families of these villages will link to the drinking water supply scheme. In Sonbhadra, water from the lake and rivers will be purified and supplied for drinking.

 

 

 The government will spend Rs 3212 .18 crore on this scheme in Sonbhadra. The water collected at the dam in Mirzapur will be purified and supplied by making it potable. The cost of this scheme has been fixed at Rs 2343.20 crore. According to departmental officials, a total of 4141438 families will benefit from the schemes of both the districts.

 

A total cost of 5555.38 crore has been fixed on the scheme. According to officials of the Ministry of Water Power, water supply will be started in the villages after completing the scheme within the next two years.

 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the program of Gopashtami at the Tada Fal cow shelter site in Mirzapur after the foundation stone of the drinking water scheme. During this time, CM Yogi will also hand over the cheques of remuneration to the women who make school dress under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antayodaya scheme.

 

CM will also visit and offer prayers to Mata Vindhyavasini Devi in ??Vindhyanchal Dham on Sunday evening. During this time, the Chief Minister will also inspect some plans and construction works.
