Putin ups the ante, vows to escalate attacks in Ukraine

 MOSCOW:It has been seven months since the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia's relations with Western countries also became more bitter. In the midst of all this, Russia has taken a tough stand with President Vladimir Putin has ordered the mobilization of the army on Wednesday (September 21, 2022).This is the first time after World War II, when Russia will mobilize its army. He has asked to deploy 3 lakh reserve soldiers immediately.

In his address to the nation, Vladimir Putin has also warned America and NATO of nuclear war. He said that if Western countries blackmail about the use of nuclear weapons, then Russia will also respond with full force through its missiles. Putin also said that this is not a hoax, we can go to any extent to protect Russian citizens.

A day earlier, plans were announced to vote for Russian-occupied territories in eastern and southern Ukraine to become an integral part of Russia. In such a situation, people living in Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Luhansk will vote on joining Russia in the coming days. The number of Russian speaking people in this area is very high. Russia's occupation of these areas means the economic destruction of Ukraine. Two industrial cities in Ukraine, Europe's largest nuclear plant and thousands of kilometers of land have come under Russian-held territory.

 

 

 The Russian President, signing the decree on the mobilization of the military, said that if the territorial integrity of our country is threatened, we will use whatever means we have to protect our people. Putin said that our goal was to liberate the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine. The people of Eastern Ukraine did not want to live under Kyiv's rule.

Putin said he would deploy more troops to aid Russia in its war against Ukraine. He said that in the first instance, trained and experienced soldiers would be sent to the front. Putin also said that Russia would do everything to protect the Russian-speaking people of eastern Ukraine. He also announced to provide all possible help to these people. Russia is already providing all facilities to the people coming from Ukraine.
