Ranchi : CMHQ observes Constitution Day

(Fast Mail News) -NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters observed Constitution Day today. The Constitution Day which is also known as “Samvidhan Divas” was celebrated on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.

On the occasion Head of Mining, Shri Sariputta Mishra administered the preamble of the constitution to the senior employees and employees gathered to observe the special day by adhering COVID -19 norms.

On this very day i.e 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950. Employees remembered Dr B R Ambedkar contributions who had chaired the drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly and played a pivotal role in the drafting of the constitution.

To commemorate the day, NTPC has organised a webinar on” Constitution Values and Fundamental Principles of the Indian Constitution” for employees.
