RJD becomes largest party in Bihar Assembly, BJP second and JD(U) third
In terms of the number of MLAs in the Bihar Assembly, now RJD has 80, BJP 77, JDU 45, Congress 19, Left 16, HAM 4, AIMIM 1 and 1 independent. Let us tell you that once again there has been a big political upheaval in Bihar. On Wednesday, suddenly four out of five MLAs of Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM joined the RJD.
Let us inform that after the results of the assembly elections held in 2020, RJD became the single largest party with 75 MLAs. After winning one seat in the by-election, the number of RJD MLAs increased to 76. On the other hand, in March this year, BJP had included three VIP MLAs in its camp. After this BJP became the number one party in Bihar with 77 MLAs. But now RJD has again acquired this place.
This is the second time in Bihar during three months when MLAs of any party have broken up and joined another party in Bihar. Earlier in the month of March this year, there was a similar breakdown in Mukesh Sahni's party. All the MLAs of Mukesh Sahni, a minister in the Bihar government and the national president of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), had left him and joined the BJP.
Three VIP MLAs Raju Singh, Swarna Singh and Mishri Lal Yadav had left the party under the anti-defection law and submitted a letter to the Speaker Vijay Sinha to join the BJP and merge the VIP with the BJP. .
