Mostly bread, vegetables and pulses are consumed in Indian food. Unless the food is like this, there is no fun in eating it. However, diabetic patients have to take care of health more than pleasure in food and those things have to be made a part of their lifestyle and food, so that they do not have to face blood sugar spike and sugar level remains under control.

Here some such special flour is being mentioned, from which you can easily make rotis and eat them. You will also find these flour rotis (Chapati) tasty and your blood sugar level will also remain normal.

Barley flour

Barley or barley flour is beneficial in keeping health healthy. Diabetics can eat rotis made from this flour without worrying. It is also helpful in boosting metabolism and at the same time prevents inflammation, which helps the body to remain healthy.

Ragi flour

Ragi flour is rich in good quality dietary fibre. This flour is considered good in diabetes. On eating rotis made from this flour, the stomach remains full for a long time and the food intake also decreases, due to which ragi flour does not allow weight gain. Rotis made of this flour prevent sudden increase in blood sugar.

 

 Aamaranth flour

Amaranth flour made by grinding Amarnath seeds is rich in antidiabetic and anti-oxidants. Rotis made from this flour keep blood sugar normal. Apart from this, the amount of high protein, minerals and vitamins is found in it which is beneficial in diabetes.

Oat flour

High fiber oats keep blood sugar under control in diabetes. At the same time, calories are also less in it. The body gets 68 calories and up to 21 grams of fiber from 100 grams of oats. In such a situation, it is beneficial to eat rotis made of this flour. To make rotis from oats, grind oats in a mixer and make flour. Add salt to it and knead it like normal flour. You can also knead dough for tasty rotis by adding onion, coriander and light oil to it.
