sharp fall in Diesel price in Delhi, decrease 8 rupees per liter

 New Delhi 31 July:-- There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel for the 5th consecutive day due to slowing demand for crude oil. The prices of petrol and diesel have been implemented in all the cities except Delhi.
Yesterday, Kejriwal government in Delhi decided to reduce VAT. Due to which there was a big fall in the price of diesel in Delhi. The Kejriwal government reduced VAT from 30 per cent to 16.75 per cent. Due to which, the price of diesel was reduced directly by Rs 8.
With the reduction of VAT, diesel was once again cheaper than petrol in Delhi. Earlier, Delhi was the only city where petrol was sold with expensive diesel. Today, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 80.43 per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel is Rs 73.56 per liter.
 Now if you talk about other cities of the country, according to the information received from the IOCL website, the price of one liter of petrol in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai is 82.10, 87.19 and 83.63 per liter respectively. If we look at the price of diesel, then the prices in these metros are 77.04, 80.11 and 78.86 respectively.
So far in the month of July, the price of oil companies diesel has been increased 10 times. Diesel has become expensive by Rs 1.60 in these 10 days. If we talk about petrol, it has not increased since a month. The last increase in its price was on June 29, that too only 5 paise per liter. But diesel prices were continuously increasing.
