Shimla, July 26, (Fast Mail News):-- In Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, the son killed his mother with a sword. The police has arrested the accused son. The younger son of the deceased woman has lodged a case against the accused brother in the police station. The incident is of Thund village of Junga area under Thana Dhali.

According to the information received from the police, Vimala Devi (55), a resident of Thund, has three daughters and three sons. Her husband passed away a year ago.

Sunil, the youngest son of the deceased woman, has lodged a complaint with the police that his brother Rameshwar (34) attacked mother Vimla with a sword at around 11:30 pm on Tuesday night. Hearing the screams of the mother, elder brother Prakash Chand, his wife Shakuntala, sister Kanta Sharma came out of their respective rooms and saw that Rameshwar quarreled with mother Vimala Devi, who was sleeping in the upper floor of the house, and fought with an iron sword. was hitting The family members got the sword released from Rameshwar. But he had inflicted many blows on mother Vimala with the sword. His mother was injured in the throat, mouth, arms and hands from the bar of the sword. Rameshwar escaped after the incident, which was overpowered by the police. After a while Vimala Devi succumbed to the injuries sustained by the sword.

It is being told that accused Rameshwar's mental condition was not good and he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

SP Shimla Doctor Monika told on Wednesday morning that the accused has been arrested. Action is being taken against him by registering a criminal case under sections 302 and 323 of IPC at Dhali police station. The body of the deceased woman has been handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
