Son shot father and brother todeath over property in Azamgarh
(FMNews) - Last night in Dhandhari village of Kaptanganj police station area of ??the district, the son shot and killed his father and brother in a dispute over property and expenses.
After being informed, the police reached the spot and took both the bodies in their possession and sent the bods for post-mortem. The injured woman has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Late night, the police are interrogating the accused son by taking him into custody.
Manoj Singh, a resident of Dhandhari village of Kaptanganj police station area, got into a dispute with his father Narayan Singh on Tuesday night regarding property and expenses. At the time of the dispute, his brother Manish Singh also reached the spot.
Irriated er the mattere, Manoj Singh shot his father Srinarayan Singh and brother Manish with his licensed pistol kept at home. Both died on the spot. At the same time, the aunt who came to the rescue was badly beaten up with sticks, due to which she was bleeding.
After the information of the locals, a heavy police force led by the Superintendent of Police reached the village late in the night and took the body in its possession and sent it for post-mortem.
Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya told that Manoj Singh has retired from the army a year ago. His father Shri Narayan Singh was also in the army. In the preliminary investigation, it has been found that Manoj Singh's brother Manish was adopted by his aunt at the age of about 6 years. Manoj Singh, after an argument with his father over property and house expenses, shot him with a licensed pistol and killed his father and brother and seriously injured his aunt. The accused Manoj Singh has been taken into custody. He is under interrogation .
