Surjewala lashes out at Modi government over anti-youth policies and unemployment
While talking to media, he said,"The BJP government of Haryana is anti-youth and the curse of unemployment has put the lives of Haryana's youth in darkness. The next Congress government will change this trend. 2 lakh government jobs are lying vacant in the state. We will provide new opportunities for the youth by filling these jobs”.
“Narendra Modi talks big. He should fill the 30 lakh vacant posts in the central government. If even 5 to 10 percent of the posts are given to the children of Haryana, then it can bring 2 to 3 lakh more government jobs in the state" ,he said.
Similarly,he alleged many industrialists from Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh want to come to the state, but there is no one to bring them. “We have to give them a little encouragement. We only have to give a few thousand crore rupees extra to this sector. As soon as we encourage them, they will come here and set up factories”,Surjewala said adding in this way, 10 lakh new jobs can be created in the state."
Surjeweala challenged the former Chief Minister of the state Manohar Lal Khattar and the current Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and said, "I challenge Manohar Lal Khattar that both he and Naib Saini should come and debate with me on the issues of the state. They should talk to me about how they sold jobs by setting up a market. Will the BJP leaders who are talking about slips and expenses tell whose money was the crores of rupees worth of attachés that were caught from the Haryana Public Service Commission? Was the money for a girl's dowry being collected in the Public Service Commission?"
