T-20 World Cup: Afghanistan to take on Scotland in Sharjah today

 In the Men's T20 Cricket World Cup, Afghanistan will meet Scotland at Sharjah Cricket Stadium this evening. Afghanistan will be playing their first match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Scotland, qualified for the Super-12 stage after finishing atop their qualification group stage table, winning all three of their matches along the way.

 Yesterday, Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets in Dubai in their first group match last night. Chasing a victory target of 152 runs, Pakistan achieved it in 17.5 overs.

 In another match, Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by five wickets. Bangladesh had set the target of 172 runs, which Sri Lanka achieved in 18.5 overs.

 All India Radio is broadcasting ball-by-ball commentary of the World Cup matches.
