Terrorist attack on CRPF party in Budgam, CRPF jawan martyred, terrorist absconding
Budgam, 24 September (Fast Mail) - On Thursday, the terrorists attacked the CRPF party in Kesramulla area of ??Chamora in Budgam district. An Assistant Sub Inspector of CRPF has been martyred n this attack. After the attack, the terrorists managed to escape from the spot. How ever,the security forces cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation to nab the terrorists.

According to the information, a patrol party of 117 CRPF personnel was passing through the Kesarumulla area of ??Chamora. Meanwhile, two motorcycle-borne terrorists suddenly opened fire on the CRPF party. The CRPF jawans also took immediate front and opened fire on the terrorists. CRPF jawan was injured in this attack. The injured jawan was rushed to the 92 Base Hospital, where the jawan died during treatment. Meanwhile, the terrorists managed to escape from the scene. The terrorists also took away the injured CRPF jawan's rifle before leaving. At the same time, the security forces have cordoned off the entire area and the search operation is on for the terrorists. The security forces have sealed all the routes going through the search operation. The search operation was going on in the area till the news was written.
