Trinamool Congress ready to beat the rhythm in Uttar Pradesh too

New Delhi,FASTMAIL - After Tripura and Goa, now the Trinamool Congress is eyeing Uttar Pradesh. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Union Minister Kamalapati Tripathi's great-grandson and Congress leader Lalitesh Tripathi has joined the Trinamool Congress. It is believed that the Trinamool Congress has also started preparing its political ground in Uttar Pradesh. The party is also preparing to beat the rhythm in the upcoming assembly elections. For this, the Trinamool Congress leaders are in constant touch with the main political parties there.

Since the Trinamool Congress does not have political ground in Uttar Pradesh, it is trying to form an alliance with a party already present in the state.

According to party sources, Trinamool Congress leader Bahujan has met Samajwadi Party supremo Mayawati. However, Mayawati has not yet opened her cards. The Trinamool is also exploring the option of an alliance with the Samajwadi Party.

According to sources, top party leaders are also in touch with SP leaders. Two meetings have also been held in this regard. It is believed that the Trinamool Congress may emerge as an alternative to the Congress in Uttar Pradesh. For this, it can also form an alliance with SP in some seats. The Trinamool is in constant touch with the SP leaders on this issue.

Trinamool is also preparing with its C plan. Leaders are looking for such seats in Uttar Pradesh, where the Bengali community is more numerous. More than three lakh people of Bengali community live in Mathura, Vrindavan. Possibilities are also being explored on these seats.

Trinamool spokesperson Vivek Gupta admitted that the Trinamool Congress is now looking for new possibilities in the wake of the Assembly elections. He informed that Trinamool Congress is going to contest elections in Goa, Tripura. Elsewhere, the party is looking at its future as an alternative to the Congress. He said that the party no longer wants to rely on the Congress. Therefore, now the Trinamool is keeping an eye on all the electoral states. The Trinamool Congress will work to defeat the BJP as a strong opposition in the electoral states.

It is noteworthy that the Trinamool Congress is still a regional party but its enthusiasm is very high after the landslide victory in West Bengal. Now Mamata Banerjee is gearing up to prepare her political ground in at least four states to get national party status for the Trinamool. At the same time, by uniting the scattered opposition, the party is working towards giving a hard blow to the BJP like in West Bengal.
