UP: Yogi government’s minister sits in dharna with workers in Sitapur, says - Protection is being given to criminals

(Fast Mail News) - There are reports of displeasure with the officials of the ministers and MLAs of the Yogi government. According to reports,Suresh Rahi, a minister in the Yogi government in Sitapur, sat on a dharna. In the Yogi government, Minister of State for Prisons Suresh Rahi alleges that SDM Sadar is harassing the villagers and hearing is not being held. He also staged a dharna with villagers and workers against SDM Sadar.

A video related to this incident is also going viral. In the video, Suresh Rahi is seen sitting on a dharna along with his supporters and villagers, where  he is criticizing the SDM Sadar saying that Wah re officer, the poor are being harassed and criminals are being given protection.

Actually the whole matter is that the SDM has given notice of 107/116 to 170 villagers. Most of them are not living in rural villages. Minister Suresh Rahi said that he had come to ask what was the basis of the notice. However, the minister said that he was not sitting on the dharna but had come to ask what was the basis of the notice given to the villagers.

DM of Sitapur, Anuj Singh also reached the dharna site and talked to Minister Suresh Rahi and also assured to solve the problems of the villagers. The Minister of State demanded the removal of SDM Sadar. At the same time, it is said that even the DM was not present in his office and when the minister arrived, there was a stir among the officials. After this the DM reached his office.

Minister of State Suresh Rahi, while talking to the media, said that he has not given a dharna because there is no dharna in Baba ji's government. He said that he had come to listen to the problems of the villagers.

Let us tell you that a few days ago in Kushinagar, a BJP leader sat on a dharna in his own government. The reason for this was that the police had not registered a case of assault. He alleged that he wanted to get a case registered in the case of assault by a particular community, but this complaint was not being registered by the police.
