Blenders Pride Fashion Tour Unveils India’s Most Advanced Tech-Driven Runway Experience in Gurugram
In collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), Blenders Pride Fashion Tour elevated the narrative of India’s evolving fashion-tech landscape with an iconic presentation that blended design with advanced interactive engineering. Together, the two created an experience where visual technology and immersive digital elements transformed the traditional runway into an experiential arena.
The evening witnessed fashion move through a futuristic digital realm as motion-sensing 360° projections transformed the venue entirely into a canvas. High-lumen projection systems wrapped the environment in synchronized visuals, shifting across digitally rendered worlds and reactive light formations. Every frame, transition, and light shift was designed to respond to the theme, offering audiences a completely immersive sensory experience.
Adding to the spectacle, two Unitree G1 humanoid robots joined the celebrity show opener Tamannaah Bhatia on stage — marking their first-ever appearance on an Indian runway. Their synchronized movements highlighted the rising role of machine intelligence in experiential design. Equipped with precision locomotion systems, depth sensors, and programmable choreography, the humanoids became a visual metaphor for the future of tech-assisted performance.
A defining innovation came through the integration of a LiDAR-enabled movement-responsive runway floor, embedded with sensors that tracked the motion of each model in real time. As footsteps interacted with the surface, the runway responded with dynamic patterns, directional routes, and kinetic light bursts — creating a live dialogue between human motion and digital expression.
The crescendo of the tech-driven experience arrived with a holographic dual-reality showstopper moment, where Shahid Kapoor’s physical presence was mirrored by a holographically projected version of themselves. Using advanced projection and spatial mapping, the segment merged digital illusion and real-world performance into a seamless mixed-reality visual, leaving audiences stunned by the scale and precision of the execution.
“We’re thrilled to interpret and bring to life the Futureverse of Fashion — a concept that truly captures the spirit of what lies ahead” said designers Falguni Shane Peacock. “Blenders Pride Fashion Tour has always stood for pushing creative boundaries and has consistently championed innovation. Through this collaboration, we’re proud to help shape a new narrative where innovation and creativity define the next era of style.”
Sunil Sethi, Chairman, FDCI, expressed, “FDCI is delighted to collaborate with Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, uniting two powerhouses of fashion to shape its future. The Gurugram edition celebrates creativity, culture, and sets the pace for what’s next in Indian fashion.”
Shahid Kapoor expressed, “Being at Blenders Pride Fashion Tour runway is always exciting, but this year felt like stepping into a new era. The way technology and couture were woven together was both seamless and spectacular. The designs were fluid, effortless, yet distinctly futuristic. Fashion, to me, is at its best when it innovates without losing its sense of ease and tonight captured that perfectly.”
Tamannaah Bhatia said, “The Futureverse of Fashion by Blenders Pride Fashion Tour was an electrifying experience where creativity knew no bounds. This blend of technology and high fashion is what is going to be next for the industry and I’m glad to be a part of shaping it”
The tour is now headed to Jaipur on where designers Abhishek Patni and Namrata Joshipura will present High- Octane Couture with Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu and rapper Raftaar on December 6th.
